A Taste of the Outback
Geoffrey W Graham presents a dynamic performance on the Outback of Australia... Following his amazing success with 'The Man from Ironbark', Geoffrey's 'Banjo' Paterson show; Geoffrey's newer show, 'A Taste of the Outback' has
hit stages across Australia since 2002. The same resurgence of enthusiasm for the things, the words, the music, that define what it is to be Australian, that made The Man from Ironbark Show
so popular, is sure to draw people to this new one-man show. Geoffrey sees this show about the Outback as a natural progression for him. " 'Banjo's'
works were the stories of real people, shearers, drovers, horsemen, and conmen."
"Sense the toughness of the drovers, the pain that comes
from a harsh land, the pride of achievements,
the fear of the unknown, the smell of the campfire, the persistence and humour of the Outback stalwarts."

A Taste of the Outback
looks at the characters of the Outback, their land, their stories and their humour. The Outback still conjures up adventure and excitement, the
starkness, the harsh climate, red sand, loneliness, pioneers and the wildlife. The men and women who tried to tame her including drovers, and shearers and those who built
the telegraph lines, the rabbit proof fence and the railway lines. From aboriginal stockmen to Bullock drivers. Then there are the Legends like John Flynn, Sir Sidney Kidman, Bill Harney, Jackie
Howe, Patsy Adam Smith and RM Williams. Through the words of poets and songsters, Geoffrey weaves a tapestry of songs, verse and yarns by or about the people of the Outback.
