During Easter 2001, Geoffrey compered the opening function at the National Folk festival introducing acts from
every state of Australia and overseas, and the same weekend was the voice at the Grand Easter parade at Bendigo where 100,000 people saw the most majestic festival parade yet including 5 Chinese dragons, a
first at any festival in Australia.
He is able to fill for a minute or 45 minutes, he is able to entertain or push a night along at speed. He is able to build an introduction for any speaker or performer
and allay the nerves of novice performers.
His style is easygoing while at the same time keeping a wholistic view of the function
